The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors is considering an application by C.H. Nelson Holdings Ltd. to amend the OCP and zoning designations of approximately 185 ha of land within 4 subject properties. The amendments will facilitate subdivision of approximately 90 residential acreages and creation of a large conservation/recreation lot.

The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors is considering an application by KV Properties Inc. to amend the Lake Koocanusa OCP and SweetWater Zoning and Floodplain Management Bylaw. The application is for a portion of land near the north marina.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing has been scheduled for TUESDAY, March 28th , 2023, at 6:00 PM at FERNIE CITY HALL located at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750.
