Sparwood: Red Apple Opens in Sparwood Mall

The Bargain Shop in Sparwood was transformed in June into a Red Apple store. The Sparwood Mall location is managed by Laura Lee.

“As a part of our rebranding initiative, we have given the stores a complete makeover to provide our customers with an upgraded and enhanced shopping experience,” said Red Apple CEO Brendan Proctor, in a press release.

The newly renovated store features bold in-store signing, wider aisles, better product adjacencies, and upgraded store fixtures. Red Apple aims to make shopping easy and more convenient for their customers. Red Apple Stores is a Canadian retail chain of over 140 small-town general merchandise stores.

Cranbrook: Runner’s RV Beefs Up Mobile RV Service

Fernie: BarBurrito comes to Fernie

The rapidly expanding BarBurrito franchise is coming to Fernie. The company was founded in Toronto in 2005 and features a wide variety of tex-mex cuisine. “We’ve built on our reputation of offering great quality Tex-Mex food, fresh, fast, and without compromise,” according to BarBurrito corporate philosophy. “We may not be the only burrito in town, but we’ve certainly raised the bar.”

The BarBurrito restaurant in Fernie will open this summer at Unit 2 - 1791 9th Avenue near Canadian Tire. The new Fernie franchise is owned by the same Calgary-based entrepreneurs who recently opened a new BarBurrito restaurant in Cranbrook.
