The children at the Fernie School Aged Care (FSAC) were proud to present Fernie Friends for Friends co-founder Shelley Moulton and director Shari Palmer with a donation on Wednesday, February 19.
A week of busy baking before for their annual Valentine's bake sale allowed the kids to generously give $122 to the local charity that helps support people battling cancer.
The pink and red cupcakes, cookies, and gluten free treats were such a hit, the bake sale completely sold out. “We'll have to bake more for next year,” exclaimed Brittany Dodd, FSAC manager.
