Sunny skies and sales were set up at the Bridge Bistro on Sunday, April 19 for the first Tail Gate Garage Sale.
The free event invited locals to set up tables and clean out their homes for a mass garage sale under the sun.
“It’s been a really great turnout so far and I’m glad the weather is cooperating,” said organizer and co-owner of the Bridge Bistro Lillis Perreault.
Perreault explained that she hoped the Tail Gate Garage Sale would encourage more visitors and business rather than one individual sale.
“I think it turns it into more of an event and encourages people to drop by and take a look when it’s done this way. I hope to do it again next year,” she said.
The garage sale was set up at the Bridge Bistro from 11-2 p.m.
