A new washroom facility is to be built next to the new water spray park in Lions Park in Sparwood.
The Director of Community and Facility Services made a presentation to Council on Monday on options for a washroom and change room facility with a concession area at the Water Spray Park. Council approved funding for the building at an estimated cost of $226,300 from recreation reserves and balance if required from land reserves. These costs include bringing services to the site.
The water spray park is due to be completed by July 2011.
