With a start date of July 8 for the first market of the season, the Sparwood Market is gearing up for an exciting summer. The board is currently looking to hire an enthusiastic individual for the position of Market Manager. If you are organized, have excellent communication skills, please send a resume to contact@sparwoodmarket.com. For more details, visit the website Sparwoodmarket.com.

The market will be offering fresh fruits and veggies, locally raised meats, eggs, baked goods, arts and crafts, food trucks and much more. Each Market will also present Music in the Park, which will feature live local musicians each week, so bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the evenings.

If you are a vendor and make, bake or grow your own products, visit the website to apply online today, as spaces are limited. In an effort to promote local young artisans & entrepreneurs, the Sparwood Market is offering free table spaces for youth 16 and under.

The market runs every Friday from 4-7 p.m. from July 8 to Sept. 16 at Titan Park (the big green truck) in Sparwood. The board would like to acknowledge the Columbia Basin Trust, the District of Sparwood, the Sparwood District Arts & Heritage Council and The Elk Valley Thrift Shop for making Music in the Park possible this year.
