Exhibit brings back memories

An exhibit currently showing at The Arts Station will bring back some childhood memories, and not all good.

‘Modern Myththe stories we tell’, looks at fairytales, childhood myths and dreams, and some of them can be slightly uncomfortable to look at.

Childhood imaginations can run wild, and sometimes it’s nice to leave them behind when we enter adulthood.

Charlotte Catchpole, Deirdre Earl and Nichole Yanota are three artists from the Crowsnest Pass with a shared love of the surreal, and it shows. Showcasing paintings, illustrations, and mixed media, these very modern narrative works might bring back some unwanted memories.

The exhibit runs until August 27 at The Arts Station in Fernie.
