At approximately 9 a.m. on Thursday morning, a cyclist was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Second Avenue and Fourth Street. Bystanders were assisting the victim and 9-1-1 was called.
Emergency services soon arrived on the scene. The female cyclist was transported to Calgary by STARS air ambulance and is said to have non-life threatening injuries. Police are investigating the situation and more information will be updated as it becomes available.
