Closing day at Fernie Alpine Resort was about as perfect as it could be, with 70 cm snow in the last two days, and blue sunny skies in the afternoon.
The Coca-Cola Slopesoaker entertained the crowds this afternoon, with brave contestants attempting to skim an icy cold pond on their snowboard, skis or snow blades.
