Delta Police need help locating missing North Delta man

UPDATE:Elijah Barnes has subsequently been located safe and sound. Delta Police Department thanks everyone for their assistance.

Delta police are asking for the public’s help in locating a North Delta man missing since last weekend.

Elijah Barnes, 21, was last seen around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7. He was reported missing on Aug. 10.

Barnes is believed to be driving a brown 2000 Chevy Malibu, B.C. license plate number CP3 94E. Delta police say he may be in the area of Cranbrook, B.C. and they are working closely with Elijah’s family and Cranbrook RCMP in order to locate him.

Barnes is described as a Caucasian male, 21 years old, 5’10” and 145 pounds. He has a skinny build with black hair shaved on the sides.
