A group of local kids ages 11-14 have spent the last week learning about watersheds.
Far from just classroom study, the camp gave the kids the chance to go stream wading, swimming, rafting, hiking and biking.
The camp ran from August 12 to 16 and ended in the Fernie Community EcoGarden on Friday where kids learnt about how they can collect rainwater and use that to water their garden. They finished by painting the barrel that will be used to collect the rainwater.
