Man charged in Baynes Lake weapons incident

A local man has been charged in connection with the weapons disturbance near Baynes Lake on May 8.

39-year-old Jacob Salekin appeared virtually before Cranbrook Court on May 14, and was charged with pointing a firearm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief to property, and use of a firearm to commit a serious offence.

His next appearance is on May 28 in Kelowna Law Courts.
