The Elk Valley RCMP are asking the public for help to figure out what happened to a man who has no memory of how he sustained serious injuries.
Some time during the early morning hours of December 30, the man was walking in downtown Fernie when he suffered serious bodily injury. After examination by doctors it was determined he was most likely hit by a car or other vehicle.
The man involved has no recollection of how he sustained his injuries and the investigation to date has failed to locate any witnesses.
The man is described as being 5’ 11”, average build, brown hair and was wearing a dark blue shiny ski jacket and blue jeans.
