Raising money for Angel Flight through photography

You might fly over them or drive around them often, but do you have a book of professional photos of British Columbia’s mountains taken from the sky?

Thanks to Angel Flight East Kootenay Pilot, Todd Weselake – you can have one.

Weselake has been taking photos from his journeys flying back and forth across the Rocky Mountains for the past five years, most recently helping transport folks from the Kootenays to much-needed medical care in the Central Interior.

The book, ‘Wings Above the Rocks’ is more than just pictures of mountains.

“They showcase many of the peaks that are buried deep in the harder to reach areas,” said Weselake. Photos are from all seasons.

The book, which has 75 images taken over the last few years is 11”x 8.5” hard cover, with locations geographically located.

‘Wings Above the Rocks’ is currently on pre-order for $80, with proceeds to go towards Angel Flight East Kootenay and the work they do as a not-for-profit organization in the Kootenays. Angel Flight East Kootenay has been operating since 2020, and as of mid-April 2022 has transported over a hundred patients this year.
