RDEK distributes CBT ReDi grant funding

The Regional District of East Kootenay has announced the recipients of Columbia Basin Trust Resident Directed (ReDi) Grants for the coming year.

The RDEK administers the grants and mad the allocation decisions at its June board meeting, after public input and recommendations from the municipalities and electoral area directors.

“The approved 2023/2024 projects represent $1,320,390.34 in funding for everything from recreation and youth programs to history projects, stewardship programs, facility and accessibility upgrades,” says RDEK Board Chair Rob Gay. “The positive impact these projects will have in our communities and on our residents is immeasurable and we are deeply grateful to the Trust for its ongoing support.”
