Tourism Fernie has announced that the #Ferniestoke Shuttle will end its season as planned on Sunday, April 2.

There will not be any extended weekend operations for the rest of the ski season due to staffing issues.

Tourism Fernie would also welcome any feedback on this past winter’s service. Executive Office Jikke Gyorki says that there is some ongoing discussion around a summer shuttle service as well.

You can contact her at Jikke@tourismfernie.com

The shuttle program is funded by tourism dollars and is a partnership between Tourism Fernie, the City of Fernie, Fernie Alpine Resort, and the Fernie Chamber of Commerce. Additional funding is generated by ticket sales and advertisers on the buses. The service is being operated by Fernie Alpine Resort for 2022/23 season. Funding for the purchase of three new buses in November 2022 was through tourism grant funding from the Provincial Resort Municipality Initiative.
