City of Fernie
The City of Fernie wishes to advise area residents that in order to dispose of excessive amounts of storm water in the sanitary sewer collection system due to recent rain and snow melt it is necessary to temporarily bypass treated effluent to the Elk River.
This bypass will take place from March 12 to March 28 (as needed) in accordance with the Ministry of Environment Operating Permit.
