A small grow op was taken down in Fernie last week.

On August 20, Elk Valley RCMP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence in Fernie and seized several mature marijuana plants as well as a quantity of dried marijuana buds in mason jars. A 35-year-old male and a 29-year-old female, both Fernie residents, were arrested without incident, and were released pending charges.
