Highway 3 was cleared after a vehicle incident this afternoon

Vehicle incident temporarily closes Hwy 3 east of Sparwood

This afternoon at approximately 4 p.m., DriveBC reported that Highway 3 was closed after a vehicle incident east of Sparwood near the Alexander Creek Bridge. Crews attended the scene and cleared the highway.

According to posts on social media, the incident appeared to be a trailer on its side, blocking both lanes.
