Angelo Picco

1929 - 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Angelo quietly passed in the arms of the Father on September 29, 2010 with his family by his side.

Angelo was born on September 17, 1929 in Fernie, British Columbia in the home he would live in for the first 72 years of his life before moving to Cranbrook in 2001.

Angelo was devoted to his wife Sarah “Dolly”, as she was devoted to him. Together they loving raised their four children.

To his sister Dora, he leaves their wonderful childhood memories.

To his grandchildren and great grandchildren Papa leaves his many “squashes”. He loved them so much. Steven (Kim), Kent (Lori), Dayna, Tommy, Brian, Jacklyn, Jodi, Trenton, Janaeya, Madison, Jeza and Lola.

To his children Donald (Debbie), Diane (Gary) Baher, David (Brenda), Donelda (Doug) Kirk, he leaves his examples of goodness and kindness to all he met.

He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and friends who will forever remember his “jokes”.

Angelo was predeceased by his parents Constantino and Argentina, his brother Carl and his brother Norman.

A Celebration of Angelo’s life was held on October 4, 2010 at Christ The Servant Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Food For Kids at the East Kootenay Community Credit Union.
