It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and sister Bernice Catherine Vandenberghe (nee Manning) on December 28, 2023 with family at her bedside.
Bernice leaves 3 children to cherish her memory: Rhonda (Ken), Allan (Tawan), and Jody (Stephen).
Bernice will be lovingly missed by her husband of 60 years, Fred Bernice will be remembered and missed by her numerous grandchildren: Amanda (Scott), Shawn (Sarah), Sarah (Kadin), and Tyson (Alexis), and numerous great grandchildren: Hunter, Ryder, Sawyer, Summer.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, brother, and 3 sisters.
Bernice was born on May 9,1941 in Pilot Mound, Manitoba where she spent her early years before moving away to become a nurse, this is where she met her husband Fred. They married in June of 1963 and went on to raise 3 beautiful children.
Bernice loved animals and spent many years on the family farm raising sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, horses, dogs, and cats.
She was a special lady and will be dearly missed and remembered by her family and friends.
