We are all shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Bruce, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, who died on Monday, April 2, 2018. One of 8 children, Bruce Walter Rosler (a.k.a. "Boo-Boo") was born in Saskatoon, SK on May 22, 1955 to parents Paul and Joyce Rosler.
A big man with an even bigger heart, Bruce was a friend to many and a stranger to none. His fervent zest for life was contagious! He brought love, laughter and kindness into any room he entered. Bruce touched the hearts of so many people and was loved as a "second dad" by several. He had a unique way of leaving people feeling better than he found them. His life was a gift!
A sports enthusiast with a slight competitive streak, Bruce enjoyed a good game of hockey, football, or baseball. Many good times were also shared around a poker table or a crib board; he was always keen for a few games!
Summer months were spent camping, playing horseshoes, riding his quad, and enjoying great family picnics where many wonderful memories were made. Winter months meant time for coaching hockey or having fun in the back-country, sledding with family and friends.
Friendship isn't about who you've known the longest.
It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you"
And proved it!
Rest in Peace "Boo-Boo". We love you!
Bruce is lovingly survived by his wife Laureen, his children: Melodie (Curt), Mindy (Matt), Amanda (Chris), and Paul Jr., his stepson Jason (Lindy), 5 precious grandchildren: Cruz (Trinda), Brittany (Danny), Bradley, Korbyn and Kalyb, and 3 beautiful great grandchildren: Konnor, Zephryn and Ellie. He also leaves behind his brother and sisters: Marilyn (Sonny), Dianne (Rodney), Lalonie (Ray), Mike (Theresa), Rozanna (Robin), Juanita (Willy), and Sheri (Stuart) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, his great grandson Keygen, nephew Kane Rusnak, and nieces Tristin and Nicole Rosler.
