Oct 21, 1960 - Dec 19, 2017
With tremendous sadness we announce the sudden death of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Gale Kisch who died in Kelowna on December 19, 2017 at the age of 57 years. She was born in Creston, BC on October 21, 1960 to parents Jack and Edna Abar.

Gale is survived by her husband Brent, her son Brandon (Kada) Kisch and her precious granddaughter Hazel Rae Kisch, 2 sisters: Yvonne (Al) and Carol (Gary), 2 brothers: Jim (Cindy) and Syd (Heather), her mother-in-law Doreen Kisch, and her sister-in-law Rose (Bob) as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Jack and her youngest son, Ryan Kisch.

Gale was a devoted wife and mother, but her greatest passion was being a grandmother to her beautiful granddaughter Hazel with whom she shared a very special bond.

Gale was likely best known for her role as a dedicated educational assistant. With a desire for knowledge, she attended extensive training courses and workshops, teaching many of the kids throughout the Elk Valley.

In her leisure time, Gale enjoyed knitting, relaxing at the cabin with family and friends, fishing, picking huckleberries, or trying her luck at the casino .... which she tended to be very lucky at!

Gale touched a lot of people throughout her life, and will be dearly remembered for her warm smile, her zest for life, and her love of those around her.

An announcement will be made in the early Spring with the date for her Celebration of Life.
