Giuseppina “Pini” Ewankow (nee Pilosio) was born in Fernie on June 19, 1954, passed away quietly with her family by her side on August 26, 2011. After Pini’s courageous battle with cancer, she is finally at peace. Left to mourn her passing are loving husband Allan, children Myles (Kyla) and Natasha Ewankow, and grandchildren Taylor and Logan, brother Frank, sister Anna and Aunt Josie. Pini was predeceased by her parents Arturo and Olivia as well as a sister, Maria. Prayers were held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 7:00 PM with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:30 AM with Father Bart van Roijen Celebrant.
