December 12, 1947 - May 20, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Czeh Jr on May 20, 2020 at the age of 72. James was born on December 12, 1947 in Michel B.C.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Shirley, and his children, Karrie (Tim), Sharlene (Dan), and Christi, and his stepson Murray. Jim will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren: Zack, Paige, Brooklyn, and Brady, his three step-grandchildren: Cherise, Chyla and Persephone, and by his sisters Mary (Charlie) and Arlene (Rick). Jim will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Jim was predeceased by his mom and dad, Susie and Jim Czeh Sr.
Jim started his career at a very young age working alongside his dad as a truck driver. He was rewarded for the best overall performance in Safety, Production, Environmental Protection and Quality during 1987 in the Sparwood area.
Jim's passion for life was his job, watching his grandchildren play hockey and soccer, watching the Chicago Blackhawks, making his capocolli and Italian sausage. He spent many evenings cuddling his dogs and sneaking them lots of treats. Jim looked forward to every Christmas to entertain at large family gatherings to play his keyboard and accordion.
We are incredibly grateful for the care Jim received from the Fernie, Cranbrook and Trail hospital during his time of illness.
Jim will forever be missed and never forgotten by his family and friends.
