Passed away peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga on April 14, 2011 in her 84th year.
Beloved wife of Peter for 58 years. Loving mother of James (Beverly) and their children Yvonne, Ian and Graeme and John (Barbara) and their children Ellen, Anne and Alexandra.
Cherished sister of Margaret Bella, Patricia Gigliotti, Delphine Kennelly (James) and Carmen Carr (Ken) and the late Alan, John, Henry, Jerome, Thomas, Virginia, Herminia, Helen and Monica.
Fondly remembered sister-in-law of Edna Campbell, Jessie Campbell, Dorothy Barrie and Gordon (Joan).
Leona will be dearly missed by her family, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Fernie at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:30 am with Father Bart Van Roijen, presiding.
Interment at St. Margaret’s Cemetery will follow the Funeral Mass. Reception to follow at the Holy Family Catholic Church.
If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
