In Loving Memory ~
Margaret "Littie" Pascuzzi (formerly Corrigan, formerly Pointon) died peacefully in the early morning hours of August 24.
She is survived by her 7 children, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, older sister, Dorothy Uyeyama (nee: Pointon), beloved life-long friend, Bernice Tortorelli (nee: Manning), and her second husband, Felix Pascuzzi's (1924-2013) five children and their families.
Born in Fernie, B.C., Littie was Norman and Anne Pointon's ninth of 10 children. Growing up in a large family during the Great Depression often meant Littie, her siblings, and Bernice, created their own fun: fishing for minnows with safety pins and string, roller-skating over the Fernie Bridge, taunting the neighbourhood curmudgeon by inching toe by toe into his yard, and endless bike rides around the Annex.
Littie started her own family in 1958 and raised children for the next 38 years. She moved from Fernie to Victoria in 1979, where she worked in the laundry unit of the Victoria and Greater Victoria General Hospitals for over 20 years.
In retirement, she continued to travel with Felix to Reno, Nevada, to play the nickel slots, take daily walks, cook cabbage rolls for holiday dinners, feed the hummingbirds, and enjoy time with her family.
Littie made generations of life and love possible. She lives on in our hearts.
