MURPHY, Pierre (Pete)
Pierre (Pete) Murphy passed away peacefully at home November 4th, 2010 surrounded by his family.
Pete and his wife Barb came to the Elk Valley in 1969. Together they built a home and raised their children, Ernie, Paul and Barb. Pete loved the outdoors and was drawn to the beauty of the Elk Valley and the opportunities for hunting, fishing and hiking. He explored the area on many outings with family and friends.
Pete enjoyed working on his many creative projects over the years. He had a special talent for making and fixing things.
In lieu of a service, Pete’s family would like everyone who knew him to take some time to enjoy the beautiful valley with family and friends and think of him.
