Feb. 9, 1940 – Feb. 7, 2013

Ross William Gibbons of Sechelt, B.C. passed away on Feb. 7th with his family by his side. He was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He attended Notre Dame College in Wilcox, Sask. He then went on to work for the C.N. Railway in Regina, Sask. Later achieving his journeyman millwright ticket at Fording River in Elkford, B.C. He dedicated much of his life to his family, who adored and loved him dearly. He was always there for them, spending time motorbiking up the Elk Valley with his son Chad and snowmobiling with Chad, Cindy and family. He also travelled to baseball games in the States and the Grand Canyon with his family. He had an amazing ability to mend and fix anything that needed attention. He has made many happy memories for his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Cindy, son Chad, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister Ila and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. He was sadly preceded in death by his daughter Pamela. A funeral service was held in Sechelt at the St. Johns United Church on Feb. 16th.
