Sandra Heckendorf (Conway) passed away peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2017 in Fernie, BC.
She will be missed by her daughter Nicole Heckendorf (Dennis Staples) and her three loving grandchildren, Ruby, Lucy and Charlie.
Sandra was a very special aunt to Wendy (Peter), Rick (Lynn) and Dana (Rob) and will be missed by them and their families. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Dick Kloss, her aunt Diane Cooper, and cousins Dawn (Erv), Tom (Ellie), Gary (Brenda) and Connie (Tim).
Sandra was predeceased by her parents Frances and Bob Conway, her sister Roberta Kloss, and cousin Linda Cooper.
Sandy lived the majority of her life in London, Ontario where she raised Nicole and worked for over 40 years with London Hydro. She moved to Fernie BC in 2015 where she enjoyed spending lots of quality time with her grandchildren; playing cards and games, and attending many of their sporting events and performances.
Sandy was a kind, caring, fun-loving person who liked a good laugh and made meaningful friendships wherever she went. In just two short years in Fernie, she made a lasting impression on many people.
She was a big part of our lives and we will miss her so very much. A celebration of life will be held in the new year.
