Sheila Kuhne, age 77, passed away at the Elk Valley Hospital on Tuesday, January 30th following a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Natal, BC on May 24, 1940.
Sheila is survived by her children: Herman Kuhne, Helen (Pat) Perry, and Thomas Kuhne, 5 grandchildren: Cody, Tyler, Dusty, Meghan and Travis, 3 great grandchildren, and siblings Joe (Penny) Jarina, Annette Bailey, and Barb (Dale) Bates and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Anne Jarina, and her sister Betty Ann McCormick.
Sheila will be remembered for her big heart and her caring, gentle ways. She loved all animals, especially her cats, Little Man and Pumpkin, and her dog Pepper.
