Athletics Alberta, the governing body for the sport of track and field in Alberta, held its annual awards banquet in Edmonton on Saturday, February 9.

The banquet is held annually to honour the top track and field athletes in Alberta for all the various age groups from the 10 and 11 year old Peewees up to and including the Alberta athletes who represented Canada at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Three Passtrak athletes were present to receive awards for being in the top echelon of athletes in their age group following the 2012 competitive season.

Mosese Ratudradra was rewarded for being the number 10 ranked athlete in the Peewee boys age group. Even more exciting is that Mosese will be in the same age group for two more years. We look forward to him moving up the list.

Noah Schuh also competed in the Peewee boys’ category in 2012. He received an award for being ranked as the number four athlete across the entire province of Alberta.

Alisi Ratudradra was crowned for the second year in a row as the number one female in Alberta in the 12 and 13 year old bantam category.

All three athletes are back with the club training hard to maintain or surpass their award winning performances from the previous season.
