The Fernie Secondary School Junior Girls Basketball team earned 2nd place that the East Kootenay regional championship tournament this weekend. The tournament, hosted in Golden, marked the end of an impressive season. The Jr Girls team earned first place at 2 of 4 tournaments and finished the season 13-5.
