Judo athlete turned coach returns to BC Winter Games

Athlete turned coach, Jaime Wong of Burnaby, is back at the BC Winter Games as an assistant coach for Zone 5, Vancouver Island and Central Coast.

Wong competed in judo in two previous games and this is his second games on the coaching side.

He said the team is doing great. “We won our first team fight. We did awesome [on Friday],” adding that the team has earned about seven medals so far.

The judo competition is being streamed live on YouTube.
