On Election Day a fantastic team of people played a very important role in working to honour the democratic process of voting in a government for the Canadian people. Without the teams of election workers especially in these tough times, this election could not have been accomplished.

The day after terrorists and nazis stormed the US capitol, I received a free copy of the Epoch Times in my mailbox - we all did. Seeing that glaring example of hyper-partisan, private interest, click-bait journalism masquerading as news delivered by Canada Post was starkly ironic given the smug declarations by Canadians on social media: “how crazy is the US?!”. The fact is, day in day out we receive the exact same programming as Americans – in our mailboxes and on our social media feeds.
